Youth Leadership and Empowerment through Active Participation

Youth-LEAP empowers young people through training, mentorship, and civic engagement, connecting them with decision-makers to shape inclusive policies.

Objectives

Youth-LEAP aims to foster youth participation in democratic life, enhance social and civic engagement, and develop an innovative EU Youth Participation Model, increase youth involvement in decision-making processes, promote active citizenship and entrepreneurship, and reinforce civic engagement.
promoting Participation Enablers (PENs) who will act as peer-mentors of local youth in each partner country. Strengthen cooperation among stakeholders to ensure policies that reflect youth needs.

Activities & Results

Youth-LEAP will implement a variety of activities to foster youth participation and leadership, including:

  • Training for Participation Enablers (PENs).
  • Collaborative sessions for young participants.
  • Local events led by youth to multiply impact.
  • Youth-driven campaigns at the community level.
  • Cooperation with local authorities to influence policies.
  • Mobility programs for PENs, including training and exchange.
  • Opportunities for intercultural dialogue through youth mobilities.
  • Development of Participation and Coordination Teams (PACTs).
  • Dissemination efforts and a final conference to share results.

Expected results include:

  • 4 PENs and 12 PACTs per partner country.
  • A validated Youth Participation Model.
  • A comprehensive training and peer-mentoring program.
  • Stronger collaboration between municipalities and youth in decision-making.
  • A joint document on political participation contexts.
  • A youth participation box game.
  • Academic publications and research reports on youth engagement.

We are looking for 4 young individuals (24-30 years old) to join the Erasmus+ Youth-LEAP project as Participation Enablers (PENs). In this role, you will help strengthen youth participation in democratic life, collaborate with young people across Europe, and contribute to developing an innovative EU Youth Participation Model.
